How is it already October? The leaves are starting to change, the mornings are getting cooler, and before we know it, we’ll be pulling out the winter coats and wondering where summer went!
October is one of those months when there always seems to be something to do… around the house, around the farm, in the field, at the barn, or just getting things ready before winter arrives.
That’s where your local Marshall County Co-Op comes in. We have a little bit of just about everything you might need this time of year!
Before You Need It… Check Your Propane!
If you’re using propane to heat your home, barn, camper or worksite, now is a good time to make sure you’re ready for those cold days ahead.
We offer bulk propane delivery, cylinder refills and RV/work campsite tank setups.
It’s much better to check that tank now than when you’re standing outside in a coat wondering why the heat isn’t working!
Still Working Outside?
There’s always another farm, garden or field project, isn’t there?
If you’re working on fencing, preparing your ground or getting a jump on next year’s garden, we’ve got grass and vegetable seeds, fertilizer, lime and fencing supplies to help you get the job done.
And if you’re already thinking about next spring’s garden… you’re definitely not alone!
Don’t Forget the Straw!
October is also a good time to get your straw supply lined up.
We carry standard and certified weed-free straw. And if you need a larger amount, we offer jobsite drop delivery to make things a little easier.
Because hauling straw is one thing. Hauling a LOT of straw is a whole different story!
Fall Means Hunting Season Is Coming!
You can feel it in the air… fall is here and hunting season isn’t far behind.
We’ve got deer corn, bird feed, tools, snow salt, bulk bottled water and local food items, along with plenty of other useful things you’ll find yourself needing.
You never know what you’re going to come in for… or what you’re going to find while you’re here!
